Our Day At The Beach for YStrong Girls kicked off an active June- no gloom from this corner of the world. 35 girls participated in an active day of surfing, stoke, and catered lunch from Duke's.
The day was capped with a Club presentation of a $17,000 check to the program from the recent fundraiser at Duke's- and a cooler bath for L-Zo. Thanks to all involved-donors, members, and participants. You go Girls! Photos: Mike Perreault
June 22 was the day of our Clean Ocean Water rally in Imperial Beach. We had a solid turnout to show our support to the locals dealing with this atrocious pollution problem that continues to defile our Pacific Ocean. A march on the pier was followed by a speakers platform and a Hands Across The Sand protest demonstration. We must fix this problem Californians. Join the Fight! Photos: Maddy Perreault
