Tiare Thompson, WindanSea Surf Club member and freshman at La Jolla High School, has been chosen out of the entire country as one of the two competitors in the girls under 16 division for the USA Surf Team in the VISSLA ISA World Junior Surfing Championships which is scheduled for October 11-18, 2015 in Oceanside, CA at the Oceanside Pier. The event is the largest junior international competition event in the world featuring over 320 surfers from more than 35 countries competing for the Gold and the honor of representing their respective nations.
